The Stand-Alone Processor runs all aspects of the Mass Spectrometer including all communication to the plant.
We can connect to this Processor through the Host PC port using Gasworks software.
The Stand-Alone Processor is mounted on the bottom left hand side of the enclosure.
It is directly connected to the Input/Output mother board.
This PCB has power ok and activity led’s which flash when the instrument is running normally.
The Stand-Alone Processor sends and receives all information from all the other PCB’s via the VGiNet Daisy Chain,
using the RJ 45 YELLOW cables.
