- Description
- The icon scientific Cetane Number Analyser (Cn) provides the refinery with a quick and accurate Cetane number measurement without drawbacks of the traditional CFR Engine or the issues associated with model based chemometrics used in FTIR and Raman spectrometers.
The analyser works well with Diesel and Biodiesel products.
The measurement includes the effects of Cetane improvers thus enabling real time control of a diesel blending plant.
The analyser Correlates to ASTM D7668.

적용: 정유공장 - 세테인값
가솔린의 앤티노크성을 옥테인값으로 표시하는 것과 대응되는 것으로, 시료와 동일한 착화성을 나타내는 표준연료에 혼합되어 있는 세테인의 부피백분율을 그 시료의 세테인값으로 한다. 착화성이 나쁜 경유의 세테인값을 향상시키기 위해서 질산알킬 등을 혼합하여(0.5% 이하) 넣는데, 이것은 실린더 내에서 연료분사의 초기에 생기는 열분해 생성물의 산화를 촉진하고, 착화지연을 적게 하는 작용을 한다.
디젤기관의 착화성을 정량적으로 나타내는 데 이용되는 수치. 이 값이 큰 연료일수록 디젤노크(Diesel knock)를 일으키기 어렵다. (1) 단체 연료의 점화 성능을 나타내는 지시값으로, 세탄값이 높을수록 연료는 저온에서도 자연 점화(발화)된다. (2) 디젤 연료의 세탄값(디젤 연료의 노킹이 발생하지 않는 정도의 치수)을 말한다.
